Places to Visit: Storm King Art Center

As the year comes to a close and the weather improves, I wanted to post about Storm King Art Center  in Cornwall, NY. Storm King combines art and nature on 500 acres of land. I first discovered Storm King through an episode of Netflix's Master of None. 

Upon further research, since established in 1960, has aimed to provide a place for artists to feature some of their most ambitious sculptural works and features lots of modern and contemporary pieces.

I've included some of my own images from a trip this past fall to Storm King. It's a beautiful place I highly recommend for a summer visit. It's also a place I find interesting for the source from which I discovered it (as mentioned, Master of None) - it's curious to see how different media sources can influence our cultural experiences. Particularly, it reinforces the way television and other modern media can highly affect what we consider worthwhile, trendy, etc.
