Art and Gentrification
This can be a following post of Ze's (Kangjie Liu) post on gentrification and art. He raised this question on the incoming artists and the possible gentrifying effect, and I'm going to show a real example. That is the Boyle Heights Protest in Los Angeles two years ago.

The announcement and opening of these hipster galleries in a Hispanic neighborhood in LA raised the housing price. Lots of landlord saw a chance of the land to fertilize an artistic neighborhood, and galleries as well as boutique shops have higher willingness to pay for rent.
