2X4 - push the boundary of what design can be
2X4 is a multidisciplinary design firm founded in 1995 by Michael Rock, Susan Sellers, and Georgianna Stout. Two of them are teachers from Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, the top 2 architecture school in US, and that's where I first heard about the name.

The studio's focus is on the dynamic visual display of unexpected content for art, design, architecture, and cultural clients. They've worked with Prada cohesively for exhibit and architectural design of new stores.
I've only found one piece of brief video showing how much 2X4 people utilize the platform of Mac, but you can also see part of the exhibit going for Prada.
