The World of Wearable Art

When looking for ideas for the upcoming project, I googled wearable art and the world a wearable art came up. I had never heard of this organization before and they have a full museum in New Zealand. As I read through this page, there seemed to be an event that happened where all these different artists who created wearable art came together and about 60,000 people came to experience the work they had done. In the video about this event, some arts talked about how they approached wearable art because it allowed fashion and dress up to become art instead of just something you wear. There was also a cultural exchanged that happened during this event and because of this the final projects where so different and vast that the work that I saw looked really interesting.
