Rediscovering Hilma af Klint (Podcast/Exhibit)

I was listening to a podcast about Hilma af Klint for my other class and thought it tied perfectly in with our design class. Hilma is a Swedish artist who is arguably one of the first abstract artists although she had not gotten recognition until recently. Hilma does not get much praise when she was alive so stored her art away until a later period when one of her family members let it be seen many years after she is gone. The shapes, color, and style she uses look a lot like other arts who have come after her but they are more known than her.
Right now she has an exhibit at the Guggenheim in New York City.

This is a phenomenal exhibition! We visited this for our FNAR 264 field trip last semester.
